Nicole Masters L.Ac, is a California State Certified Acupuncturist and holds a Masters of Science degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in San Francisco’s Potrero Hill neighborhood. She is also nationally certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).

Nicole graduated from the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine of San Francisco in 2002, and has continued to expand her knowledge of body mechanics. Nicole is a muscular skeletal pain & injury specialist, blending techniques of acupuncture, acupressure, massage therapy, moxibustion and herbal medicine.

Nicole also apprenticed and studied with Stephen Coleman, L.Ac. muscular skeletal pain specialist while in school as well as participated in several internships at community health clinics. Upon graduation Nicole worked with Sanjay Patel, M.D. at Northern California Rehabilitation Associates in Modesto, CA (2003-2004) working with acute injury and work disability patients. Additionally Nicole is licensed in Washington State (2002) and continues to work with John McEachron, D.C. in his family Chiropractic office in Olympia, WA., when she returns to visit her family at Horseland Farms.

In 2004 Nicole started Golden State of Health in order to better serve the needs of the community with the help of her husband, Dan Schneider, a fifth generation native of San Francisco.

When Nicole is not working she likes to spend time reading, practicing shintaido, exploring nature, riding her bike and volunteering for open space causes.
